About this site

Plain answers about who we are and what this site is for.

An independent resource, not a contractor

Sussex Water Damage is an independent informational and referral resource operated by Nexus Federal Solutions LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company. We publish homeowner guides about water damage in Sussex County, New Jersey. We do not perform water damage restoration, mold remediation, plumbing, or construction. We don't dispatch crews, give quotes or estimates, or sign contracts for that work.

Where our numbers come from

Cost figures are typical national ranges published by third parties such as Angi, HomeAdvisor, Forbes Home, and HomeGuide, with each source linked and dated. They are not prices from us or from any contractor. Only a contractor who inspects your home can price your job.

Referrals

This site doesn't currently refer homeowners to any company and doesn't collect contact information. If we add a referral partner in the future, this page will say who it is, its NJ Home Improvement Contractor registration number, and that we may be paid for referrals.

Check a contractor yourself

Home improvement contractors in New Jersey must register with the NJ Division of Consumer Affairs. You can look up a registration and file consumer complaints with the Division. Ask any contractor for proof of insurance and a written contract.
